PRE-APOCALPYSE

Maggie’s early life was spent living on the Greene family farm. The happy ignorance of her youth was disrupted at an early age when her mother Josephine became sick and passed away soon after. The young girl, who had always been close to her mother, was absolutely devastated. Finding comfort in a support group her father, Hershel, remarried far too quickly for Maggie’s liking and caused a rift in the relationship between the two. Soon after Hershel was remarried the brunette started acting out against her father, acting the exact opposite of what her father wanted out of spite.

However, when Maggie’s younger sister Beth was born her attitude slowly began to change. Maggie formed a close and loving relationship with her new family, including her step-mother Annette and step-brother Shawn. At first she remained much more distant to Hershel than she had ever been before the loss of her mother, only making an effort to fully re-build her relationship with her father in her high school years.

Not long before the outbreak started Maggie graduated from college and, much to her father’s disagreement, began looking for an apartment and a job in downtown Atlanta, Georgia. When the media started covering the spread of a new super flu spreading across the United States Hershel insisted that his daughter return to the family farm until the government had the situation under control. Without any argument the eldest Greene returned to the farm with hopes that the hype of the virus would pass over quickly.

    With a new found freedom, Rebekah moves into an old victorian home just outside of Mystic Falls. All canon interactions from season 3-now will be put in this verse.

    The Mikaelsons were banished beyond the wall when it was determined that the young mother, Esther, was wielding DANGEROUS magic in the Whispers. She was blamed for the plague that struck their village and killed many, including her oldest child Freya. So the young couple, Esther and Mikael, with five children and one on the way, were taken North and left to die in the lands of always winter. Rebekah was one of those children. For fourteen years they beat the odds, barely surviving, on the brink of starvation. When the youngest child, Henrik, died in the cold, Esther begged the children of the forest to help her save her family. They took pity on Esther, and together created an immortality spell.

    The very thing that was supposed to protect the Mikaelson children, turned them into beasts, VAMPIRES. Eternal beings, ravenous for blood. For the past few centuries Rebekah has spent a great deal of her time beyond the wall, though occasionally she will venture into the civilized society of Westeros, act the part of noblewoman until people realize she doesn't age.

She was promptly committed to St. Charles institute, where she spent her days highly medicated and under close observation. When the world went to hell, she escaped the institute and has been on her own ever since, wandering from place to place and somehow managing to escape death against all odds. Despite years of intensive therapy she is still convinced that she is a vampire.

    Rebekah moved to the states from England with her family several years back. She is currently a 1L student in Professor Keating's criminal law class.

    When Rebekah and her twin Illyana were born to a poor family in District 12, Rebekah was sold to a childless couple in the Capitol. There she was renamed "Dazzle" and raised in lap of luxury. Mansions, yachts and designer things were all she knew until she saw a girl that shared her face on the hunger games.

    Before Regina’s curse, Rebekah was a mermaid in the Bottomless Sea. There she thrived with her family, luring sailors to their death and collecting precious treasures. In Storybrooke, Rebekah works as a waitress in Granny’s diner.

    The wealthy Mikaelson family moved from Manchester England to Riverdale several years ago. Rebekah is a sophomore at Riverdale High School, where she's on the Riverdale Vixen cheerleading squad. Generally, in this verse Rebekah will be human however I am willing to keep Rebekah an original vampire if requested!

    The Mikaelson family has long been involved in the business of espionage, dating as far back as records will go. So it was no surprise when Bex was recruited to join St. James Academy at the tender age of 14, just as her father had been, and her grandfather before that. She whole heartedly accepted the offer, as this cause was quite literally the reason that she was alive. When the youngest Mikaelson child, Rebekah, was diagnosed with a rare form of bone cancer the family’s best option for treatment was to find a match. The patriarch of the family, Mikael, used the contacts he had made while on a mission in Russia to create the perfect match his child so desperately needed - Bex. The questionable practice of cloning was very much illegal, and though there were agents who knew just what Mikael was doing, they chose to turn a blind eye and allow the process to continue. Now Bex is a third year student at St. James Academy, thriving and healthy just as is her older sister Rebekah. She hopes to specialize in biochemical engineering when she gets to her fifth year, and has yet to be sent on a field mission.
